About the event
There is inexplicable magic when a poet reads her poems in her own voice in front of an audience when the audience can look into the writer's eyes as he reads the words that came from his heart. I am here to help you strengthen this magic and expose your poetry to the audience.
In this workshop, we will talk about everything you need to know to read poetry in a way that will move your listeners: how to prepare before and how to stand on stage, how to read with correct diction and which words should be emphasized, how to know when to stop and when to hurry, how to signal to the audience that now is the time to clap, and much more additional subjects.
