How Can I Help

All the ways in which I can help you promote your poetry in the world

Editing

Are you a poet with outstanding work that only needs a little polish? Do you have unpublished poems that you want to share with the world? No matter where you are in your artistic journey, you need an editor who can give feedback on your work and help you get published while maintaining your unique voice. That's where I come in. I have edited hundreds of poems for dozens of poets over the years, and with my experience, I can help you, too.

Translating

Translating a poem from one language to another is more than just a simple translation. To some extent, it is a new creation in itself.

Translating poetry is not only a word-for-word translation. It also requires consideration of many other factors such as meter and rhyme, intonation, register, cultural background, maintaining the tone and the emotion arising from the text, and many others.

If you write poems in English and want to translate them into Hebrew, if you write poems in Hebrew and want to spread them in the world by translating them into English, I am here for you.

Mentoring

The Israeli literary world may seem scary and threatening for new and beginning writers. Many questions arise: How do I get my poetry published? How do I reach a new readership? How do I keep my artistic voice and share it with the world in an optimal way?

Over the years, I have participated in dozens of poetry events, and my poems have been published in newspapers and radio programs and read by hundreds of readers. I am here to share what I have learned and accompany you in your first steps as creators.

Workshops

Writing poetry is challenging, often requiring more effort than people are willing to admit. Although poetry is usually shorter than other genres, it is not easy to write. In my workshops, we will learn how to write poetry that will move and inspire readers. We will discuss tools that can make your poems clearer and better, and we will also cover how to read poetry in front of an audience while keeping it accessible.

Most importantly, we will practice writing poetry and perfecting our skills.

Lectures

"I only knew for myself to tell," said the poet Rachel Bluwstein (Rachel the Poet), and so, in fact, we all can. In my lectures, I share my journey as a poet and artist, my creative process, and how I turn an unripe poem into a poem that readers quote. Amidst all this, I will read from my poems and tell about the events that led to their writing.
